In March 1996, Southwest Christian Care broadened its scope of service to include respite care for children suffering from progressive life threatening illnesses and severe disabilities. The children's respite program (Hope House) provides temporary relief for families and caregiver with a state-of-the-art twelve-bed facility located in Union City, Georgia. Referrals for our Hope House in-home patients come from Coweta, Fayette, Clayton, Henry, South Fulton Counties as well as from virtually all acrros north and middle Georgia. There are no geographical boundaries for Hope House inpatient care.
Southwest Christian Care's Hope House provides services at no cost to our patients or their families. Hope House is able to provide these services by depending solely upon the loving gifts of individuals, churches, civic groups, businesses, and foundations. Hope House welcomes all who will join hands with us in reaching out to those in need with the love and compassion of Christ.
